When it comes to makeup, removal is as important as its application. Some could argue that it’s more important because many a face has been taken down a peg from half-ass makeup removal. One of my favorite products to get the job done is Boscia MakeUp-Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil.
Using oil is great way to tackle stubborn eye makeup, but some oils, like coconut oil, can wreak havoc on the face because they’re comedogenic. So if you’re acne prone you have to take special care to follow up with a good cleanser as to not leave anything behind. With Boscia MakeUp-Breakup Cool Cleansing Oil that’s not a worry. This oil rinses away cleaner than regular oils and is helpful during my double or triple cleansing makeup removal routine.
I use the oil on a dry face taking care to really get at the eyeliner and mascara. Then with a warm washcloth wipe it away. This isn’t a one and done type of product so I follow with a cleanser. To complete the cleansing process I use a toner and cotton pad. I typically have very little makeup residue on the pad so I know I did a good job getting everything off.
