You’ve begged. You’ve pleaded. You’ve dealt with everyone rolling their eyes, but you finally got it, a Sephora gift card. I know you heard the harps play and angels sing, but now the anxiety is setting in. You want to make this purchase count so what should you get? There are endless possibilities and perhaps some not-so endless funds so here are some suggestions in case you can’t ball out of control in Sephora after the holiday or anytime a gift card comes your way.
Rollerballs
Rollerballs are perfect when you want that expensive fragrance but don’t want to put $70, $80, or $100 on it. With many fragrances falling between $20-$30 you could pair it with another similarly priced item if you happened to receive a $50 gift card.
BeautyBlender
Often imitated but never duplicated is the Beauty Blender. If this has been on your mind then now’s the time to scoop one up. You may have a similar sponge but nothing compares to the original.
Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye Palette
This one is a bit of a wish list item for me, but I think it would dope for you as well. I keep hearing good things about this palette. With a mix of mattes and shimmers you don’t have to worry about a sparkle explosion you may get from other neutral palettes.
Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil
I love these. It’s a matte lip without it feeling like it’s sucking your lips dry. My current faves are Cruella and Train Bleu but I don’t think you can go wrong with one of the others.
Origins Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask
This mask is great because it comes in a pod, 1.7 oz, and 3.4 oz size. Sometimes if I want to jumpstart the healing process on an eruption this gets the job done. It’s also one of cheaper the activated charcoal masks offered at Sephora.
So there are my suggestions. If you received a Sephora gift card(or two) this year what did you get?
