Over time I’ve learned that filling in my brows gives my face a more finished look when it comes to wearing makeup. Whether I’m doing a full face or just some mascara and liner a filled in brow goes a long way. Since I like to fill in my brows I decided to take a break from my usual powder and give a more budget friendly product a shot.
The Maybelline Define and Fill Duo is a pencil and powder in one product. You use the pencil side to define your brows and the powder side fill them in. The pencil side reminded me of more expensive products like Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz because of the retractable pencil.

I found that this gave a relatively natural looking fill. I haphazardly made a few hair-like marks on my brows then filled in with the powder side.
The powder side is a bit tricky. I’m pretty sure the powder is in the lid so you’re supposed to unscrew the lid and the powder will deposit itself onto the little sponge tip and you apply it to your brows. You can also unscrew the lid completely, insert the pencil into the lid and spin the pencil back and forth so the powder gets on the sponge from the friction.
This stayed put most of the day and through a couple of accidental touches.
